YCC’s Spirit of Giving program empowers families receiving survivor services by providing holiday gifts, and spreading joy and hope while fostering a sense of community and care during the holiday season.

Last year, we successfully provided holiday gifts to 132 children from our domestic violence shelter, sexual assault recovery program, and on-site childcare, A Place to Grow at YCC. With your support, we aim to do the same this year! Each child will receive something to wear, something they want, and something to read, while each parent will be given a personal self-care basket.

Important Dates for Sponsors:

November 14, 2025: All families matched with sponsors

December 1-5, 2025: All gifts must be delivered to YCC from sponsors, unwrapped, and with a wishlist form attached.

Each child will receive something to wear, something to read, and something they want.

YCC will send you a list of their sizes and interests so you may shop for the child/children.

Please ensure all items are turned in unwrapped. You can provide wrapping paper if you would like.

***Please DO NOT purchase bicycles, gift cards, computers, or other electronics, or toy weapons of any kind.

2. Sponsor a parent (one parent is approximately $100)

Purchase and donate small personal self-care items such as hand lotion, candles, bath salts, a cozy blanket, etc.

3. Make a monetary contribution

These funds are used to fill in any gaps / missing items in child or parent sponsorships.

*Your donation is designated for YCC’s Spirit of Giving program. However, in the event that the program needs are met or other vital needs arise, YCC retains the right to use the funds in the area of greatest need as determined by the organization.
